See’s Candies is always particularly busy around certain chocolate-heavy holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Christmas), but they offer plenty of mouthwatering chocolate options year round. The best part might even be the free sample that most See’s Candies will give out, often just for walking in the store! However, if you follow a vegetarian diet, you need to be wary about potential non-vegetarian ingredients that may be found in your favorite candies (namely gelatin). Gelatin is made from animal bones or skin (usually from a cow or pig) and would therefore make those candies non-vegetarian. I reached out to See’s Candies’ corporate office to find out which candies contain gelatin. Below you will find a list of the See’s Candies’ products that contain gelatin (and are therefore NOT vegetarian). Therefore, any other candies that you order should be vegetarian approved.
