Bill Miller BBQ is a Texas-based restaurant with over 70 locations that serves up a whole lot of meat. However, if you are vegetarian and therefore avoid meat, there are still a few things to eat at Bill Miller. I contacted their corporate office for a list of vegetarian menu options at Bill Miller, which you’ll find below.

Thank you for the information. Did they inform you if the Spanish Rice and Bean and Cheese tacos contain any beef, chicken or pork by product (such as broth for flavoring)
Hi Manuel, I did actually confirm that the Spanish rice does not contain a meat stock before posting this article. I did not ask specifically about the beans, but this list was given from their corporate office specifically as a list of vegetarian options, so I imagine that the beans in the bean and cheese tacos are also vegetarian.
I work at Bill Millers (ironically I’m vegan), my store might do it differently than others, but they throw the left over bacon from breakfast into the pinto beans, which are then grinded into the refried beans for the next day. So the beans aren’t vegan. I usually get a plain baked potato and stuff it with rice, then throw on some pico de gallo, lime, and salt/pepper (which are all free) then enjoy my free rye bread. Comes out to 2 dollars with my half off discount. The hashbrowns are also Vegan, oils are used instead of butter. If you want to get really creative order the baked potato and salad combo and put hashbrowns, rice, and lime in your salad. You won’t regret it.
What about their french fries? Are they vegan?
No they have make them in lard
what about the hash browns….aren’t they vegan as well…or is it not bc they cook it on same grill as meat
Yes the hash browns are vegan, they don’t cook any of the meat on the grill at the store, if it was grilled then it was at the downtown location/bakery or something and heated for you at the store, because I work at one and we don’t use the grill for any meat we just heat it up.
