Moxie’s Grill and Bar is a Canada-based restaurant and bar featuring globally-inspired cuisine. I reached out to their corporate office to find out the vegan menu option. The response I received was that even though there are not many vegan options on the menu, they’d be happy to create a customized meal for their vegan guests. Below, you will find suggestion for such customized meals. Note: these offerings are specific to the Richmond location, but the other locations will likely customize the menu similarly. Just talk to your server before ordering!

 

Vegan Menu Options at Moxie’s Grill and Bar

Lettuce wraps (without noodles)

Bruschetta (no cheese, no butter on the crostini)

Tableside fresh smashed guacamole (no chips, sub cucumber slices)

Market salad with the house dressing

Asian chopped salad (no chicken, sub soy protein, no sesame dressing, sub ginger tuna dressing )

Ginger tuna salad (no tuna, sub soy protein, no cucumber emulsion)

Pasta with tomato sauce and added vegetables of your choice

Ginger teriyaki rice bowl (sub sushi rice, no yogurt, add soy protein)

Portobello veggie burger with a market salad or roasted potatoes (no mayo, no cheese, sub avocado, add salsa; no burger bun, sub multigrain bread; no butter on potatoes)

Fish Tacos with a market salad or roasted potatoes (no fish, sub refried beans; no sauces, add guacamole, add salsa; no butter on potatoes)

Veggie wrap with soy protein, corn salsa, guacamole, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers (large tortilla wrap)

Also, please note that if you don’t mind cross contamination in the deep fryer – fries, sweet potato fries, corn chips with salsa, and nachos without cheese and sour cream could be added to the list above as vegan-friendly choices.
