Hopdoddy Burger Bar is a relatively small burger chain that strives to bring you creative burgers made with fresh, all-natural ingredients. I contacted their corporate office to find out if any of these fresh, all-natural burgers are vegan-friendly, and the short answer is a resounding, “yes!” Below i have included the full response, which details which burgers and sides are vegan (and how to order them to make sure they stay vegan).

“We are proud to bring the acclaimed Impossible burger to all Hopdoddy locations. To make The Impossible burger totally vegan is simple, simply tell your cashier or bartender you want it that way! They will prepare it with no cheese or sauce on our housemade whole wheat bun. Our whole wheat bun is 100% vegan, made with cane syrup (not honey) and prepared separately from our challah and non-gluten buns.

Our La Bandita burger is also vegetarian. If you ask to leave off the goat cheese, pesto, and sassy sauce, it is vegan. Our whole wheat bun is 100% vegan, prepared separately from our challah buns. When you order your burger, please request that your bun is toasted on the grill instead of in our special bun toasters, that way it’s toasted with olive oil and not butter. When we grill our La Bandita burger patties, they are cooked in a dedicated and separated area of the grill that only those patties touch. No meat is cooked in those areas.

Additionally, our Kennebec Fries are vegan, and cooked in fryers that only cook other vegetables. No meat or meat byproducts are cooked in our fryers. We fry with rice bran oil that is non-GMO. (Obviously, the Parmesan Truffle Fries are mixed with cheese before they are served.)

Our Spinach & Arugula salad is vegan without the cheese.

Be sure to let your cashier or server know that you are a vegan, and they will help guide you through our menu & communicate to chef.”

So there you have it! Enjoy your vegan Hopdoddy burgers!
