We are about to go on the Norwegian Star leaving from Venice Italy, and were told that instead of 12pm boarding time, the Norwegian Star would be delayed by 5 hours to 5pm.
We asked the Cruise Terminal workers what happened, but they didn’t know why.
We found the answer on CruiseCritic forums, where a passenger said that the ship would be delayed because a passenger jumped overboard in the night and they are still searching for them..
Update: The ship has just docked at 2:35pm. Passengers are cramped together at the embarkation area.
