Nation’s Giant Hamburgers is a restaurant chain based in Northern California that specializes in – you guessed it – giant hamburgers. I reached out to their corporate office to find out if the chain offers any vegan-friendly menu options. Unfortunately, the response I received is as follows: “Nation’s offers some vegetarian options but nothing that qualifies as vegan.” Unfortunately, even the Harvester, which is their meatless patty, contains dairy. It is unclear why the fries, for example, are not considered vegan (they are fried in Canola oil), but maybe it’s a cross-contamination issue. Either way, you’ll have to look elsewhere for vegan-friendly fare.
