Is Branzino fish Kosher?

Branzino (Dicentrarchus labrax) is actually the Italian name for the fish species otherwise known as the European bass. In fact, in Ireland and the UK, it’s referred to simply as “sea bass.” Branzino has a white, delicate flesh with a mild flavor. It’s therefore a popular fish to eat and is found on many restaurant menus.

But you may be wondering, is branzino kosher? Good news: According to Chabad, who received their information from the Orthodox Union, branzino is a kosher fish.
